Young girls teams all record wins this Saturday !

YOUTH SECTION ROUND UP – Sept 21st/22nd 2024

Third week of the new season, so inevitable that the rain makes an appearance. Luckily no games were called off….long may that continue.

Phil Granville’s U18 Floodlit side were knocked out of the FA Youth Cup away at Ascot on Friday night. Despite being the better team, they went out 2-1 with Jayden Bunce grabbing the goal.
At 4-1 down at halftime, the U18’s Dynamos were looking out of sorts with only a goal from Alex to their name. A quick free kick to Hohlden found Harley who scored with the help of a post. Hohlden then hit a 30 yards free kick to get to within 1 goal. Keane then hit his 3rd free kick of the season, beating the keeper to make it 4-4 with Radnage Raiders.

The U16 EJA team pulled off a shock as they beat last years Brown Division winners, Northwood, 1-0 away from home. Colby Harbour-Brooks with the winner.
The U16’s Dynamos grabbed their second win of the season. A superb 25-yard strike from Sam Dolan opening the scoring and a penalty scored by Beau Kennedy making the difference. Great team performance with William Bowes picking up Man of the Match.
The U16’s Youth got their first win of the season despite going in 2-0 down at half time. A spirited fightback saw goals from Jackson (2), Rhoan and Freddie…to give them a 4-2 win.

The U15’s EJA team lost out 2-0 to St Margaretsbury in their second league game of the season.
Ben Sullivan’s U15 Dynamos suffered a close 3-1 loss at the hands of Chalfont Rhinos.
The U15’s Youth team also lost out this weekend. Marlow Youth running out 4-1 winners after going 3-0 down in the first half. Charlie Parker-Foot with the solitary goal.

U14’s Dynamos made it 3 from 3 with a thumping 13-0 win over Burnham Junior. Three players recorded hat-tricks on the day, Dylan, Kyle and Alfie. Other goals from Rehan, Joseph, Sid and Rio.
The U14’s Youth got their first win of the season as they won 9-6 in a 15 goal thriller at Haywood Way against Ruislip. A great performance for the boys as they start coming together after the age group went through a re-structure. George (3), Archie (2), Jake (2), Lorenzo and Tishan with the goals.

Charlie Hine’s U13’s Dynamos lost out 8-0 to a decent Risborough Rangers team, giving away a few easy goals. They live and learn and go again next week.
The U13’s amazing start continued with a 13-0 thrashing in the cup against Beaconsfield Town.
Antonio’s U13’s Athletic also remain unbeaten as they won 5-1 away to Prestwood in the same cup competition. Bernardo scoring first and it was 2-1 to them with Alex scoring before half time. Bernardo scored his second from a header and a great cross from Artur saw Caleb volley home for 4-1. Alex finished the scoring with a solo effort to make it 5-1.

The U12’s Colts made it 3 from 3 as well with am 8-1 win at home to Tring Tornadoes. A dominant performance saw goals from Luc (2), Maddox (2), Tommy, Freddie, Angad and Jimmy securing the win.
The U12’s Girls also remain unbeaten, winning their second game 3-2 against Kings Church. Allanya was on fire scoring a fine hat-trick.

Our U11’s Dynamos lost their first match of the season 5-3 to Thame United. Despite the very wet weather there were lots of chances. Ryan (pen), Max and Kai scoring the goals.
The U11’s Youth are finding their feet despite a 4-1 loss. Two goals gifted to Marlow and not taking our chances proved the difference. Andrii scored and Freddie getting man of the match.
The U11’s Colts lost out 3-1 to Aylesbury Corinthians in a close match where both keepers were given man of the match awards.

Chris Milburn’s U10’s Youth won 1, drew 2 and lost 1 in very close games with Penn & Tylers Green. Venkata scored 3 goals and was wells supported by Lukas, Matti and Max with the other.
The U10’s girls continue to impress with a 4-1 win against Linslade Galaxy in the cup. Tia continued her great form with another hat-trick and Grace grabbed the other goal. Player of the match was given to Florence who was superb.

The U9’s Dynamos won 3 of their 4 matches against Chinnor, moving well and creating many chances. They scored 10 goals in total.
The U9’s Youth team were unbeaten yesterday morning winning 2 and drawing 2 of their games. The new Power Play rule was in use due to the score in one game.

The U8’s Dynamos had 3 draws….all of them 3-3 in some remarkable matches. Both teams were playing some nice football.
The U8’s Youth team are still coming together and lost both games but gaining in confidence now. I am sure the Management combination of Mike and Kai Borrett will turn things around…!
Gareth Medd’s U8’s girls got their first win of the campaign defeating Linslade Galaxy 7-0.

Woody’s U7’s Youth are finding their feet as well managing to secure their first wins on the season. They won 3 of their 4 games with Aylesbury United.
Ben Stevens U7’s Colts are still unbeaten winning 3 and drawing 1 game against a strong Stoke Mandeville team. They managed to score 20 goals in some great games of football and are progressing well.
