This weekend Aylesbury entertain Chalfont St Peter AFC at Haywood Way. KO is 3pm on Saturday 7th March.

FC followed up the draw at St Ives last weekend with a well earned victory at AFC Hayes on Tuesday night courtesy of a single strike just before half time by Jeanmal Prosper. That victory took The Moles back up to third and well within the Play off places.

We now enter the final ten games of the season of which six are at Haywood Way and the team's as much support as you can provide in the final exciting period of the season.

First up on Saturday are Chalfont and in recent years Chalfont have been a bit of a bogey side for Aylesbury, back in August the team ground out a 2-2 draw with goals from Danny Burnell and Kyle Anthony Chalfont St Peter 2 FC 2 MATCH REPORT. The Saints currently sit in mid table with forty one points but are on a poor run albeit that three of their most recent defeats have come at the hands of Rugby, Bedworth and Hanwell.

Chalfont St Peter Football Club was formed in 1926, and played at Gold Hill Common.After the Second world war they joined Great Western Combination league for the 1949–50 season. The club for the 1958–59 season moved to the Parthenon League.

They joined the London League in 1960, but only stayed in the league for two seasons. The club joined the Spartan League league in 1963 and played in the league for twelve season, though their highest finish was sixth. In 1976, Chalfont St Peter joined the Athenian League Division Two, which the following season merged with Division One. The following season then saw the club make their debut in the FA Cup, losing to Barking in the first Qualifying Round.

The club finished runners-up in the Athenian League in 1983–84 and gained promotion to the Isthmian League Division Two North.

After two seasons the club was transferred to Division Two South, which the club won in 1987–88, gaining promotion to Division One. After six seasons in Division One, Chalfont was relegated to Division Two. Another six season later, they were relegated to Division Three, which was renamed Division Two in 2002.

The club left the Isthmian League in 2006 to join the Spartan South Midlands League, when the FA restructured the leagues. After finishing runners-up in 2007–08 and 2009–10, and champions in 2010–11, they were promoted to the Southern Football League Division One Central. During this time, the club also reached the semi-finals of the FA Vase.

Manager Steve Bateman should have a full squad to choose from with Ben Stevens due to return from injury.
