
Bedgrove Dynamos have in the region of 200 players, 150 of them youngsters ranging from U6's to U13's and are rightly seen as a major force and one of the biggest clubs in the Town.
With frequent cost cutting within local authorities their younger members have found it increasingly difficult to find facilities for them to play their small sided matches.
As the senior football club in the area and very much a community orientated club, Aylesbury FC have offered to help Bedgrove Dynamos by offering them a place to train and play "for free". All the club has asked for is that Bedgrove Dynamos help with the upkeep of the pitches.
FC Chairman Danny Martone said "The club feels responsible to ensure that grassroots football thrives in the town and that as many youngsters as possible are able to participate in sport.
We have excellent facilities that can accommodate and help to achieve this goal so we feel it is appropriate to give something back to the local community. Our relationship with Bedgrove Dynamos is just the start of a fantastic future for youngsters in the town ".
Darren Hedges from Bedgrove Dynamos responded "We are very much looking forward to working in collaboration with Aylesbury FC. It's very exciting times for both clubs and we're very grateful for their help and support. Both clubs are highly driven and community orientated. It's our intention to ensure that any young player has the ability, facilities and support to be able to play football.
At a time when grassroots football is constantly struggling with constant government cutbacks, this partnership will help to ensure that both clubs (and more importantly it's members) can look to the future with much optimism and excitement.
