New Youth season is underway !!

AYLESBURY VALE DYNAMOS - YOUTH UPDATE (7th-8th September)

So the football season for our Youth section kicked off this weekend. The Dynamos have increased their size again this season with 43 Youth teams now part of the club.

We start with the new U18’s Floodlit Management team of Phil Granville and Alan Todhunter who had their first match, The FA Youth Cup on Thursday, where they defeated Wantage Town 5-2 and progress to the next round.
A hat-trick from Max Sato sealed the win and goals from George Norris and Ben Kelloway completing the scorers.

The U18 Dynamos started their Division 2 campaign with a close loss at Totteridge. 3-0 down at halftime they fought back to 3-3 with goals from Keane, Harley and Hohlden, but a late goal and a penalty gave Totteridge a 5-3 win.

The U16 age group had an unsuccessful Sunday with all 4 teams losing out. The EJA champions from last season went 1-0 with new signing Jack Ruddick the scorer, but Welwyn Garden City came back in style to win 4-1 in the end.
Paul Driscol’s Wycombe champions started with a disappointing 2-0 loss away at a good Haddenham team.
Kyle Gibbard, the new manager of the U16’s Youth lost out 4-2 in his first match in charge against Penn & Tylers Green in the top division.
The Colts travelled over to Ruislip Rangers and lost 3-1 in a close match.

The new U15’s EJA team are still signing players up and only had 11 available for their match against Ware…losing 9-0 in the end was probably not a true reflection on their ability.
Ben Sullivans U15’s Dynamos, promoted to the top division last season, started with a victory. This was made all the more sweeter as they went 2-0 down early on. The boys picked themselves up and went on to score 3 goals (Theo with 2 and Timi with 1) to win 3-2.
Nathan’s U15’s Youth lost 2-1 away at Ruislip Rangers. A good result nonetheless creating more chances and missing their main striker showed.

The U14’s have gone through a restructure over the summer and Erskine’s Dynamos team, who won promotion last campaign, started strong with a 5-1 win over Ickenham Youth. They played some great football and deserved the win. Goals from Dylan (Hat-trick), Rehan and Sid getting the win and a mention for Joseph who grabbed 3 assists.
Graham, now managing the Youth team, lost out 4-2 in a tight match at home to Chalfont Saints. Archie and Olivier with the goals.
Dan Haynes U14’s Girls squad won their opening game 4-0 against St Edmunds in Abingdon on Saturday morning. An excellent team performance and well deserved victory.

New U13’s Dynamos manager, Charlie Hine, was in a reflective mood after a 2-2 against 4 Future Pro. They went 2-0 up with goals from Zafi Rahman and Caleb Walker, with a superb finish. A defensive error allowed them back in the game and a header with the last action of the match grabbing them an equaliser. Man of the match was Rowan Waters with his first ever competitive match for the club.
The U13’s Youth played their 1st ever 11-a-side match and fair to say they enjoyed it with a huge 10-1 win away at Holmer Green. Malakai Undi grabbing an impressive 5 goals and well supported by Sami Abdouh (2), Youseff Malki, Harry Willingham and Derren Rumney with the others.
New team and manager, U13’s Athletic with Antonio Mendes in charge won their first match for the club 3-1 against Chesham Youth. A great cross from Alex Skolimowski was turned into their own net for an own goal. A header from Bernardo gave them the lead and he popped up in the final minutes to seal the victory.

The U12’s Dynamos continued where they left off last season with a good 4-1 win away at Langley Youth Blues. A great battling team performance despite only having 1 sub to use.
David Walkers U12’s Youth were unlucky to lose out 4-3 to Flackwell Heath despite being in front twice during the match. Still some positives to take into the next game.
The U12’s Colts produced a great performance according to coach Ian Campin. Promotion last season proved no obstacle as they ran out 4-2 winners away at Cippenham Eagles. 2 goals from Oscar and goals from Luc and Cassius securing the win.
The U12’s Girls also started the season in fine style with a 5-0 win over local rivals Aylesbury United. Allanya Williams scored a couple of goals and was supported by Kalliegh Ferguson, Megan Hudson and the final goal from Brooke McManus.

The U11’s Dynamos were now playing 9-a-side football and they won their first match 3-1 against Flackwell Heath. Goals from Noah S (2) and Harrison giving them the win.
Hayley Thomas has taken charge of the U11’ Youth this season but were undone 6-0 by a decent Thame Utd team. All goals in the first half meant the second half was a much tighter match with Danny Bowden particularly impressing to get Man of the Match.
New team, U11’s Colts, managed by Kieron Price suffered a narrow defeat in their first match for the club, losing out 4-2 to Gerrards Cross. After going 2-1 up they just ran out of puff but some real positives to take away and work on.

The U10’s Dynamos won 2 and lost 2 in their match up with Thame Utd. Trey Cummings scoring a fantastic 4 of the 5 goals for the Blue team. The Yellow team keeper, Kacper, was in fine form for them between the sticks.
Chris Milburn is at the helm for U10’s Youth and the team Won 1, Drew 2 and Lost 1 in a competitive fixture. Beaconsfield were excellent opponents and Chris is looking forward to see how the Youth team progress this season.

It was a mixed bag of results also for the U9’s Dynamos winning 1, drawing 2 and losing 1 reports Daniel Webb.
The U9’s Youth team won 2 and lost 2 in their first games of the season.

The U8’s enter their second season with the club and won 1, drew 2 and lost 1 in their matches against Flackwell Heath.
The newly formed U8’s Youth team, managed by Mike & Kai Borrett, met for the first time on Friday for training and went into the game on Sunday losing both games but grabbing 3 goals in the process.

Finally the new cohort of U7’s, with 3 teams, were in their first league games for the club.
Ian Alderman’s Dynamos Won 2 and Lost 2 in their match away at Chinnor. They went behind before managing to score 6 goals in their first game.
It was an enjoyable match day at Chinnor.
Woody’s U7 Youth team started the season with 4 losses as they look to improve their results over the coming weeks.
Finally Ben Stevens has cobbled together an U7’s Colts team who were at the club for their first ever league matches. Playing against Haddenham, they won all 4 matches and scored no less than 22 goals…something tells me they will do well this season….!
