There were a number of changes to the starting eleven after the draw at Chalfont. Will Essex made his debut in goal, George Todhunter replaced captain Jack Elsey who was unavailable, in midfield Abdullah Khan, Jacob Hutchinson, Archie Clarke and Taj Khan came into the team with Loui Bowman moving from the wing to lead the attack.

Aylesbury dominated most of the first half and were quick out of the blocks on a very warm afternoon, within the first minute Hutchinson won the ball on the edge of the Marlow box but fired just wide. On seven minutes there was a mistake from the Marlow keeper as he ran out to meet the ball but was pick pocketed by James George on the edge of the box, the ball fell to Patrick Considine but his left foot shot was cleared by the Marlow defence.

It was all Dynamos as a minute later a fantastic crossfield pass from Abdullah Khan found Taj Khan on the left, he cut inside but pulled his shot wide. Then completely against the run of play the home side took the lead as in a bit of a scramble inside the Aylesbury box the ball fell to the Marlow number ten and he slotted below the diving Will Essex.

The away side continued to pile on the pressure looking for an equaliser, first Hutchinson dragged another shot wide and then on sixteen minutes the following from Aylesbury were all screaming for a penalty as Loui Bowman appeared to be fouled as he ran into the Marlow penalty area, the referee disagreed though and waved play on much to the annoyance of the away management team.

Chance after chance followed, James George hit the post with a free kick from twenty five yards, then Archie Clarke had an effort from long range before yet another penalty shout was turned down by the officials. half an hour in and the keeper again gifted the ball to Jacob Hutchinson but he fired from a tight angle when a pull back was needed.

Then at last at the third time of asking Aylesbury were awarded a penalty after a Marlow defender was adjudged to have handled inside the area. Archie Clarke stepped up and the Marlow keeper dived the right way and saved Clarkes effort, however he had left the line and the referee asked for the kick to be re taken. Second time around Clarke's effort was much better and beat the keeper all ends up. 1-1

The second half started in the same vein as the first with the away side in the ascendency, Jacob Hutchinson was played in but his effort effort saved by the onrushing keeper. Marlow then had a good effort when a long shot fizzed past The post.

There were then the usual raft of substitutions which upset the rhythm Aylesbury had built up but Marlow never really troubled the away side and that was helped when the Marlow Number 10 was sent off for asking the ref to book Tom Sayers. Then on sixty eight minutes The Dynamos took a well deserved lead as their pressure told and a corner was nodded home by Archie Clarke rising above the home defence.

Marlow then had a second player dismissed and the final effort of the game fell to Jacob Hutchinson who was unable to add a third when his great effort was well saved.
