Dynamos have not lost in the league since 10th August and continued their good form away at Harpenden.
With 3 players out, it gave opportunities to a few other players to stake their claim for a starting place.
Within 5 minutes Harpenden caught Dynamos sleeping and they scored a simple header past Oscar to give them an early advantage. 1-0 Harpenden.
A couple of minutes later and we were all square again. Jayden Moore with a superb run and cross where Baldwin was waiting to tap it home. 1-1.
12 minutes in and we had a 3rd goal in the game. Moore the architect again as he raced down the left wing, skinned the defender again and whipped in a cross where Bax was waiting to smash it home, great goal. 1-2 Dynamos.
Oscar managed to pull off a great save to keep the Dynamos ahead, then Bax was adjudged to have fouled and received a yellow card.
17 minutes in and Moore was at it again, he beat his marker easily and was fouled inside the box to give Dynamos a penalty. Baldwin happily sent the keeper the wrong way. 1-3 Dynamos.
With half an hour played and the pace slowed a little, Williamson picked up the ball and played a lovely ball into the path of Aidan but his shot went over the bar.
Minutes later Brownsword skipped past a challenge and sent a ball over to Williamson and his shot was deflected for a corner.
Moore was again a thorn in Harpenden’s side as he raced forward again and his shot was just over the bar.
Harpenden had a great chance before halftime with a free kick 25 yards out. Their player curled his effort towards the top corner, but Oscar pulled off a superb save to tip is over for a corner. Jenkins was on hand to clear the danger.
Half time: Harpenden 1-3 Dynamos
The first 10 minutes saw Harpenden with the pressure but Exaucee and Jenkins were on hand to thwart any attacks and rarely looked threatened.
In fact it was Exaucee that had the first real threat of the second half, he won the ball on the edge of his own box and decided to go on a run, taking on 4 or 5 Harpenden players, and made it inside the opposition box, but his cross was blocked and cleared.
69 minutes and Dynamos put the game to bed. Abu Khan raced down the right wing and pinged a cross to the back post where Jayden Moore arrived to score his first goal for the club. 1-4 Dynamos.
In the 72 minute the Harpenden No.4 told the referee what he thought of him and got a Yellow Card and sin bin…then as he walked off the pitch had an altercation with the linesman and subsequently got a Red card.
Rheon was replaced by Max Sato a few minutes later and almost got on the scoresheet as he rifled a shot inches wide of the post.
Max Sato then became provider for Baldwin as he worked his cross to the feet of Baldwin, 2 feet out, but he somehow managed to hit it over.
Final score 1-4.
