Two victories in a week, away at Arlesey last weekend and then the midweek home victory over North Greenford, have taken The Moles upto second in the League & Manager Steve Bateman will be looking for another three points against Hanwell Town at Haywwod Way in Saturday.
Hanwell replaced Manager Roy Duffy in the summer with new man Phil Granville, who joins from Harefield Utd & as usual at this level there was an influx of players from his previous club. One ex Mole that might be on show will be Danilson Vicente who joined in the summer. The Geordies currently lie second from bottom of the League with three defeats and a draw from their first four games but as we know from previous seasons Hanwell are always a tough test.
Last season's two encounters were both difficult games, In the first game at Reynolds Fields, ten man FC went down 2-1 Hanwell 2 FC 1 - Report & in the reverse at Haywood Way a single thunderbolt free kick from Danny Murphy was all that seperated the teams FC 1 Hanwell 0 - Report.
Hanwell Town was formed in 1920 by a group of Geordies working in the area, who adopted the black and white stripes of Newcastle United as their colours.
